Screener rooms: send it to buyers without losing it
A screener room is a secure, watermarked, time limited place to show work before release. Festival juries, press and buyers get in by one time code. You see who watched, when, and for how long.
- Forensic watermarking on every viewer
- One time codes, so there is no password to leak
- Revoke a viewer in a click, mid watch if you have to

What Screener Rooms does for you
Forensically watermarked
Each viewer sees their own identifier burned into the picture. If a copy leaks, the source is obvious in seconds.
Time limited and revocable
Set an access window per viewer or per room. Pull a viewer instantly, even part way through a screening.
Access control the industry expects
Email invite, allow list, password, IP lock and two factor. The watermark rotates position so it cannot be cropped out.
How a screener room works
- 01
Build the room
Pick the titles, name the room and set the window it stays open for.
- 02
Invite by name
Add each buyer, juror or journalist. Every invitation is personal, so every view is attributable.
- 03
They watch, you watch
Per viewer logs show completion, repeat views and the device used.
- 04
Close it down
Expire the room on a date, or revoke one viewer without disturbing anyone else.
Why a shared password is not security
The standard festival screener is a link and a password, sent to a list. One forward and the whole slate is loose. There is no record of who opened it, so a leak cannot be traced and a follow up cannot be targeted. A screener room solves both problems at the same time.
Forensic watermarking puts a unique per viewer mark inside the picture. It survives a screen recording and a re-encode. Because access runs on one time codes rather than a shared password, every session belongs to a named person. Hiway screener rooms have carried slates through EFM Berlin and Cannes.
The same room doubles as a sales tool. Watch time per buyer tells you who is serious before the meeting starts. When a title moves from private screening to public release, the same master becomes a SmartLink. You keep 90% of every sale that follows, and plans start at £12 a month.
Screener Rooms questions
What is a Hiway screener room?
A screener room is a secure, forensically watermarked, time-limited viewing room used by festivals, press and buyers to preview titles. Access is by one-time code rather than a shared password, and every view is logged per viewer.
Is the watermark visible to the viewer?
Yes. Each viewer sees their own identifier on screen, which is the point of it. The mark moves position so it cannot be cropped out, and it survives a screen recording.
Can I stop someone watching after I have invited them?
Yes. Revoke a single viewer at any point, including part way through a screening. Everyone else in the room carries on unaffected.
Do screener rooms cost extra?
No. Screener rooms are covered by the monthly plan, which starts at £12 a month. Hiway only takes a percentage when you sell something, at 10% of a pay-per-view sale.
