Free, email capture, invite only or paid, in any currency you sell in. The rules travel on the link, not in an email. Change the price or the window later and the URL still works. That link is a SmartLink.

Before release come the private viewings
Press, festival juries and buyers usually watch first. A screener room gives them a watermarked, time limited place to do it. Access is by one time code, so there is no password to leak.

Release day is one link, shared everywhere

How do I get a title on sale with Hiway?
Upload the master once, set who can watch and what they pay, then share the link. Press and buyers can see it privately in a screener room first. When someone buys, your 90% is paid straight into your own Stripe account.
What happens to my master file after I upload it?
It is transcoded automatically and stays where it is. Every link, screener room and partner deal points back at that single upload. You never re-upload a title to reach another destination.
What happens when a viewer buys?
The payment is taken inside the link and any revenue splits are applied at that moment. Your 90% lands in your own Stripe account. The buyer becomes a contact in your CRM and the sale shows in your dashboard as it happens.
Does Hiway replace my distributor?
No. Hiway gives you a direct-to-fan channel alongside traditional distribution. Many rights holders use it for the rights their distributor does not hold: direct sales, festival screeners and territories left on the table.
